What does a bookkeeper do? A bookkeeper takes care of the day to day financial records of your business — things like reconciling your bank accounts, processing invoices, managing payroll, preparing your BAS, and keeping your Xero up to date. Think of us as the people who keep your numbers clean and your business running smoothly behind the scenes.

Do I need a bookkeeper or an accountant? Both! A bookkeeper handles your day to day financial admin and keeps your records accurate throughout the year. Your accountant then uses those records to lodge your tax return and provide high level financial advice. When your books are in great shape, your accountant spends less time cleaning up, which saves you money.

Where are you based and who do you work with? We're based in Highland Park on the Gold Coast, and we work with clients across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Australia wide via remote services. Whether you're just down the road or on the other side of the country, we've got you covered.

Are you Xero certified? Yes, we're experienced Xero bookkeepers and can help with everything from initial setup and training through to day to day processing and troubleshooting.

What's the difference between a bookkeeper and a BAS agent? A registered BAS agent is legally authorised to prepare and lodge your Business Activity Statement (BAS) with the ATO on your behalf. Not all bookkeepers are registered BAS agents, but we are, so you're in safe hands.

Can you help if my books are a mess? Absolutely, you wouldn't believe what we've seen! We're experienced in cleaning up and catching up on overdue or disorganised books. No judgement, just solutions.
